Role Purpose

The Senior Planner, Master Planning is responsible for developing and executing efficient production, raw-material and inventory plans for the Vadodara plant. The role ensures high service levels, optimal inventory, strong manufacturing performance and reliable material availability in a fast-changing supply-chain environment.

About the Function

The India POLVANTIS Supply Chain team manages finished-goods planning, inventory management, distribution, process improvement, raw-material planning and master-data management. This role works closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics and cross-regional stakeholders to deliver operational and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create efficient production plans based on demand, customer requested delivery dates (RDD) and plant capacity.
  • Develop block plans that maximize yield and throughput while minimizing changeovers.
  • Plan and replenish raw materials, including resins, packaging and masking materials, in line with production requirements and inventory targets.
  • Manage end-to-end raw-material planning against S&OP forecasts and agreed target stock levels; ensure on-time material availability in partnership with Procurement.
  • Track and manage finished-goods, raw-material and packaging-material inventory to maintain an optimized inventory position.
  • Maintain APO-SNP planning master data, including all production-block-related master data.
  • Coordinate production and logistics activities for cross-pole buy-sell items involving China, Europe and the Americas.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve planning processes to improve service, inventory and production-plan effectiveness.
  • Monitor and sustain supply-chain performance metrics, including OT1S, OTS, MTS stockouts and DIOH.
  • Lead or contribute to process-improvement initiatives and take ownership of assigned planning projects.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • Five to seven years of experience in supply-chain planning operations.
  • Strong Excel and data-analytics capability, including Power Query; Power BI experience, is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and APO, including APO-SNP planning processes.
