WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS

The European POLYVANTIS Supply Chain Management department is formed by a diverse group of individuals with different backgrounds and a great team spirit to continuously learn, grow and contribute to enhance the company.

As a member of the SCM organization, you will become an essential piece for the POLYVANTIS business, providing differentiated service to our customers, while directly impacting business growth and profitability.

The SCM organization is responsible of a broad number of activities like finished goods and raw materials planning, inventory management, process improvements, DTW (Distribution, Transportation, Warehousing), cost control, claims, product admin and Master Data. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

§  As Master Planner of the Aviation business, you will manage the production planning and inventory levels of one of the most strategic product groups of POLYVANTIS.

§  The scope of the Master Planner of aviation is 50% operational planning, 50% team coordination and process improvements.

§  Leading and setting priorities of a team of 6 planners and schedulers.

§  Responsible for creating an efficient production planning based on demand & customer needs.

§  Follow up of orders, from creation until delivery coordinating the execution of different stakeholders involved in the operation, like manufacturing and logistics.

§  Utilize forecasting models and data analysis techniques to anticipate demands, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks.

§  Work closely with the scheduler & quality to maintain the best sequencing of orders to be able to fulfil the customer needs and adapt changes minimizing the overall impact.

§  Bottleneck management and short-term rescheduling in case of delivery delays or machine downtimes.

§  Review and discuss forecasts with commercial team to ensure perfect balance between supply, demand and inventory levels.

§  Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for Planning performance, driving accountability and continuous improvement of service levels.

§  Continually and consistently monitor and review inventory levels and implement inventory management techniques to support company goals while maintaining increased throughput and decreasing operating expense.

 

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

§  Minimum Bachelor and / or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Technical degree equivalent

§  Minimum 2 year experience within Supply Chain, planning, logistics and / or Operations

§  Excellent Excel and analytical skills

§  SAP OTC & APO skills desired

§  Being able to deliver and come with solutions in a continuously changing environment

§  Being able to see challenges from different angles and multiple stakeholders

§  Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. German is a plus

§  Team player and team leadership skills

§  Strong communication skills and capable to communicate at different levels in the organization

§  Proactive and eager to take on projects

 

The incumbent should be able to work independently in a rapid changing environment, taking responsibility for delivery of business expectations.
