As a member of the SCM organization, you will become an essential piece for the POLYVANTIS business, providing differentiated service to our customers, while directly impacting business growth and profitability

The SCM organization is responsible of a broad number of activities like Finished goods and Raw materials planning, Inventory management, Process improvements, DTW (Distribution, Transportation, Warehousing), Cost control, Claims, Product Admin and Master Data. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• As owner of the European Polycarbonate Raw Materials inventory levels, you will manage inventory replenishments and control of aged in accordance with the department goals and objectives.
• Utilize forecasting models and data analysis techniques to anticipate demands, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• The scope of the Raw Material planner is 50% strategic raw material planning, 50% Team coordination and process improvements.
• Reports to the WEI SCM Leader and is responsible for setting priorities of a team of 4 planners.
• Review and discuss forecasts with demand/supply planning team to ensure timely delivery of materials, addressing any issues that may arise.
• Work closely with key stakeholders like production and purchasing teams to align raw material strategy and actions to manage inventories.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for Raw materials performance, driving accountability and continuous improvement with inventory levels.
• Utilize ERP systems and other tools to track material availability, procurement status, and inventory levels accurately.
• Continuously evaluate and improve raw material planning processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Continually and consistently monitor and review inventory levels and implement inventory management techniques to support company goals while maintaining increased throughput and decreasing operating expense.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

• Bachelor and / or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Technical Degree Equivalent
• Minimum 2 year experience within Supply Chain, planning, logistics and / or Operations
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills
• SAP OTC & APO skills desired
• Being able to deliver and come with solutions in a continuously changing environment
• Being able to see challenges from different angles and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and German
• Teamplayer and team leadership skills
• Strong communication skills and capable to communicate at different levels in the organization
• Proactive and eager to take on projects
